GENERAL INFORMATION
There’s a new music festival in the heart of New York State. As part of the Sterling Renaissance Festival’s post-season events, festival owners are producing the first ever Sterling Celtic Rock Festival, the weekend following the close of the Renaissance Festival. This is a modern rock festival with the plugged in and piped up sounds of some of the best Celtic rock bands in the country.

Date: The Festival is open Saturday and Sunday, August 22nd and 23rd. Rain or shine. Hours: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM Location: On the grounds of the Sterling Renaissance Festival in Sterling, NY, just 45 minutes north of Syracuse, NY, near Oswego, and one hour east of Rochester. Parking: Parking is free. Tickets: Adults tickets are $19.95 per admission when purchased in advance, $25.00 at the gate, children (6-12) $14.95. Purchase advance tickets online here. | Sterling Celtic Rock Festival Rules | |
| 1. Customers will be allowed to leave and return to the Festival grounds during the day. Re-entry is allowed with a festival hand stamp. 2. Pets will not be allowed on the Festival grounds 3. Seating may be limited at some venues at certain times, but customers are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs. 4. Beer and wine is served from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM Saturday and 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM Sunday. Proper ID is required. 5. No alcohol may be carried outside of the Festival grounds. 6. All customers should bring Identification if they plan on consuming alcohol. 7. Coolers, Bags, etc. are not allowed inside the Festival grounds. Security personnel reserve the right to search all persons and confiscate any contraband goods. Contraband includes: Beer, Wine or any other alcoholic Beverage, Soda, Food etc… 8. A schedule of events is posted on this site, and will be available in the souvenir gate program the day of the Festival. 9. Parking is free, the Festival is not responsible for opening locked car doors or towing, but will recommend service companies. 10. Videotaping or recording the performances of any artist are violations of our agreements with the artists and will be stopped. 11. Handicapped parking will be available. Check with parking attendants upon arrival. 12. Any person found to be interfering with the enjoyment of others or failing to comply with festival personnel will be removed from the grounds immediately. |
